A Diverse Fair Haven Community with Historic Homes and a Beautiful Waterfront
If you're brand new to Arduino and electronics, this class will get you started prototyping your first circuit. We will use an Arduino UNO to make LD's flash in fancy patterns at the push of a button. We will cover: The Arduino board and how not to fry one; Simple LED circuits, including what is a resistor and how do you know which one to use; How to plug things into a solderless breadboard; How to read someone else's code and modify it to do what you want; Sending code to the Arduino board; Schematic drawing-electronics shorthand so you can remember what you made.
Each student should bring a laptop with the Arduino IDE running on it. Download from https://www.arduino.cc/en?Main?Software. Please email us if this requirement is an obstacle. $15.00. Please Register!
