A Message of Thanks

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

     Thank you so much for your support of Saturday’s Easter/Spring Party at Chatham Square Park.  Based on the huge attendance and the smiles of the children and families who were there, it was a GREAT success.  Everyone had a chance to participate in arts & crafts, guess the amount of candy in the jar, take a photo with the Easter Bunny, and just run in the park on a beautiful spring afternoon.

     Events like this happen only with the support and involvement of many committed individuals.  There were so many tasks necessary to make this happen: the park cleanup, publicity, candy donations, assembling 275 candy treat bags, moving and setting up tables, set up and supervision of the craft, contest, and game stations, distribution of candy, and of course, clean-up once the event concluded. 

     I apologize if I’ve forgotten anyone, but I do want to especially thank Brenda B. and Rich P., Christel M., David H., Ivette O., and the Mary Wade Family, Diane E., Alder Ernie Santiago and Family, Fan G.-M., George M., Jenn D., Kathleen G., Katie H., Oscar, and Xavier, Kerry B., Lee C., Leslie F., Lt.
