    • At planning retreat we will discuss how we might fund project in the broader Fair Haven community and be more involved in events outside of the Chatham Square area.

    • Minimal activities in the gardens, one gardener is growing root vegetables.
    • A new tree was planted on Clinton Ave. by strong school
    • Urban Trail Update- Mary Wade Home is in the process of purchasing a map to place at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Pine Street. Similar to the 6 that are already up around the neighborhood.
    • Riverfest is in the planning stages. Scheduled for May 18, 2019
    • Strong School building/Grand Ave. planning to be included in annual planning retreat. It will be presented to the city though the alders
      • Plan cover Grand Avenue from Atwater to Quinnipiac Ave.
    • Community Soup night at Lee’s was a great success. Over 50 attendees
  • New Haven Chamber of Commerce invited Lee to speak about how CSNA supports its business on Grand. They are looking into using our approach as a model for engaging neighborhood level businesses and supporting them to become chamber members

    • David: Fair Haven cemetery put up fencing around chapel to prevent overnight sleeping. It has been very successful. Working on preventing overnight sleeping on the rest of the property.
    • David: Concerns about parking cars for sale on Row St. btw. Grafton and Pine
    • Sarah: Concerns about speeding late at night on Chatham, other suggested “Complete streets” form on transportation website and “See-click-fix”

    • Provided us with 3 flyer with different safety tips: how to avoid package thefts, how to avoid vehicle thefts and safety tips.
    • Motor vehicle thefts down
    • Robberies increasing in area near Grand/Blatchley and Grand/East Pearl
    • Narcotics warrant at 260 Lombard St lead to an arrest for drug dealing
    • Search warrant at 182 Saltonstall lead to 2 robbery suspects arrested
    • Successful Thanksgiving with at Atwater senior center
      • CSNA donated $250 for this event
    • 10 turkey dinner baskets dropped off at Fair Haven Middle School
