Public Montessori School in New Haven NOW!

The "New Haven Parents" (an informal group working to increase parent input into education in New Haven), in particular Eliza Halsey, have coordinated efforts with the Hartford Public Schools Montessori magnet schools, the local New Haven Montessori schools and another dedicated parent group working to bring a Montessori to the Bridgeport Public Schools, to make a public Montessori a reality for New Haven in the Fall of 2013.

 

We ask all New Haven and New Haven County parents in support of this idea to BOTH:

-Attend the Board of Ed meeting on 10/22 at 5:30pm at 54 Meadow Street where we will make a formal petition to the BOE

                and

-Sign our petition requesting that the BOE create a public Montessori by Fall of 2013

We are hoping to have hundreds of signatures before the 22nd.
