THIS IS HUNGER: A Community Program of Mazon
A Jewish Response to Hunger
Please see below, an invitation from Rabbi Joshua Ratner to this special, limited space event:
Dear New Haven Food Network,
I am reaching out to you with what I think will be a great opportunity. Mazon, a Jewish hunger advocacy organization, has put together a traveling exhibit on hunger/food scarcity in the U.S (please see attached flyer for more details). I have arranged to make greater New Haven one of their stops on their national tour and am now beginning the process of scheduling groups to come visit the exhibit from May 7-10. The way it works is that we will be scheduling groups of no more than 10 to come on an hourly basis (the exhibit itself takes 45 minutes), with a max of 7 groups per day. The exhibit is suitable for anyone who is a teenager or adult. It will be located at:
Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Rd, Hamden, CT 06517.
Please let me know if you have a group who would like to come experience the exhibit.
