Event Description
Join us as we hear from noted economist Dr. Nicholas Perna on ways we can address issues such as underemployment, income inequality and decreased government support for social services without damaging our already frail economy. Dr. Perna is managing director of Perna Associates, LLC, a lecturer at Yale University and economic advisor to Webster Bank. His talk is cosponsored by The Counselors of Real Estate, CT Chapter, Webster Bank and Gateway Community College. Registration: $35 / $15 for students with a valid ID. Regisration deadline: May 20th. Proceeds benefit Christian Community Action and its programs to support families that are homeless in their own efforts to return to independence.
