Event Description

Join Co-Director of Collab Caroline Smith for an info session to learn all about what Collab's Fall Accellerator could mean to you and your future.

The Collab Accelerator is a 11-week program for entrepreneurs who want to create positive change in their communities by building unique businesses and organizations.

Collab provides accepted entrepreneurs with childcare during program times, transportation to and from sessions, and interpretation/translation of materials as needed at no cost.

The core pillars of the Accelerator are Access, Confidence, and Pathways

  • Access: Collab is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurial community, and encourages applications from people of color, women, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ communities. The program is open to for-profits, nonprofits, and hybrid models.
  • Programming: Through the weekly workshops, 1-on-1s, and the supportive community of the cohort, the program helps refine your idea, understand fundamental concepts, and build confidence together.
  • Pathways: Collab works with you to build relationships with potential funders, service providers, and advisors to ensure our graduates feel supported beyond the 11 weeks in building and sustaining their organization.

ACCEPTED ENTREPRENEURS RECEIVE:

Workshops, Weekly 1-on-1s, A Mentor: Fundraising, Technical Assistance, and a slot on Pitch Day
Due to COVID-19, the Fall Accelerator will be held virtually via Zoom. Therefore, participants must have access to reliable internet and a device with a webcam and microphone, preferably a laptop, tablet, computer.
