Event Description
Edgerton Park will once again light up on one of the longest nights of the year.
- Stroll along the paths lined with over 1,000 luminary lanterns, and join the musical parade.
View an exhibition of light sculptures curated by Atelier Cue.
The Hillhouse Marching Band will lead the joyous Lantern Parade. Additional performances by local musicians including the jazz-and-tap duo of Alexis Robbins & Clifford Schloss.
Enjoy festive beverages from Geronimo Tequila Bar and Rogue Coffee Company.
Science demonstration with the Eli Whitney Museum and Workshop
(Rain date: December 31)
Stirring the senses and reawakening hope, the Luminary is a magical way to usher in winter!
Where: Edgerton Park, New Haven, CT (Gates at Cliff Street and Edgehill Road.)
Details: Free and open to all
Lantern Parade at 7pm. All are welcome to join!
Donations of $10 or more will receive a hand-made walking lantern. All proceeds from this event support Edgerton Park Conservancy’s restoration efforts.
