SUMMARY:Half Square Triangles: Three Ways to Build Quilt Blocks
DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on quilting workshop, participants will lear
n multiple methods for creating Half-Square Triangles (HSTs), a founda
tional element in countless quilt designs. You’ll explore techniques
for making two, four, and eight HSTs at a time, along with tips for i
mproving accuracy and consistency. The class will also include time to
experiment with combining HSTs into different layouts to develop uniq
ue block patterns. By the end of class, each participant will have a c
ollection of completed HSTs and one or two finished quilt blocks.\nWha
t to Expect Expect guided instruction with demonstrations followed by
hands-on practice. The instructor will walk through each HST method st
ep by step, sharing tips for trimming, aligning, and maintaining consi
stent sizing. Participants will have time to play with layout and desi
gn options before assembling blocks.\nFor those who want extra time to
continue working on their project, ask questions, or quilt alongside
