In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn the foundations of crochet—from choosing the right yarn to mastering essential stitches that open the door to countless projects. Whether you’re completely new to yarn crafts or have tried crochet before and felt unsure where to start, this class provides a clear, welcoming introduction. As you practice your skills, you’ll create a classic granny square and begin a cozy beanie hat that you can continue working on at home. By the end of the class, you’ll have hands-on experience, growing confidence, and the tools to keep exploring crochet on your own.
What to Expect
Expect a supportive, hands-on learning environment with demonstrations, guided practice, and plenty of time to ask questions. The instructor will cover yarn basics, hook selection, and stitch techniques before participants practice each skill step by step. You’ll work through foundational stitches and apply them directly to your projects. This is a single-day, extended workshop designed to give you a strong start and enough practice time to feel comfortable continuing independently.
