SUMMARY:Intro to VCarve for CNC Designing
DESCRIPTION:VCarve Pro is a powerful but intuitive software for creati
 ng and cutting parts on a CNC Router.  VCarve Pro gives you the   p
 ower to produce complex 2D patterns with profile, pocket, drill and in
 lay toolpaths, plus gives you the ability to create designs with v-car
 ving textures as well as import and machine unlimited Vectric 3D clipa
 rt or single model files.  In this class you will learn the basics of
  VCarve by designing a project that includes shapes, text, and importe
 d bitmaps. Once the design is completed you will learn how to assign t
 ool paths and review what bits to use and speeds of cuts. In addition 
 you will learn some tips/tricks which include: keyhole path, double si
 ded milling and texturing.\nAfter the day of the class, Phil will be a
 vailable (within reason) to answer questions and assist with issues if
  they arise as you work on your next project.\nEach participant needs 
 a laptop with VCarve installed on it. The program can be downloaded H
 ERE. MakeHaven has a limited number of computers that can be borrowed
 , please indicate in your registration if you need to make use of one 
 and we will do our best to accomodate. \nNote: Please be aware that t
 he class will take place in the Learning Room and focus on the softwar
