Step into the forge and learn the fundamentals of blacksmithing using the power of induction heat. In this hands-on class, you’ll shape heated steel into a custom piece of your own design—choose between a decorative wand or a functional BBQ fork.
What to Expect:
Learn how to cut, taper, twist, bend, and shape steel using traditional forging techniques
Get an introduction to the science and process of induction heating
Design and create a piece with guidance from an experienced instructor
All materials and reference images will be provided
Class Details:
Limited to 4 participants to ensure individual attention
No experience needed—perfect for beginners
All tools, materials, and safety gear included
What to Bring:
Closed-toe shoes
Long pants (jeans or work pants; no leggings or synthetic fabrics)
A breathable, natural-fiber shirt (avoid synthetics, as the forge gets hot)
Whether you’re new to blacksmithing or looking to build on your skills, this workshop is a great place to start. You’ll leave with a finished project and a deeper understanding of the forging process.
