Introduction to Licensed Radio Operation
Have you ever wondered just what Amateur Radio Operators do? Have you ever considered getting a Ham Radio License but are not sure what it entails? Brenda Brown, FCC-Licensed Radio Operator Extra Class will introduce you to the world of Amateur Radio. You will learn what it means to get a license from the FCC, why to get a radio license, and how to get a radio license. If you are not yet sure whether or not to study for a radio license or if you are simply curious about ham radio in general, then this is the class for you. Some of the topics covered will be:
•Brief overview of what Amateur Radio is
•Advantages of getting a license
•Radio Transmissions including the effects of Earth and Space Weather
•Examples of Radios with Pictures
•Radio Operators Groups, Social Gatherings and Events
•Examples of Study Materials
•List of Topics that you would need to study to pass the FCC exam
•Examples of Test Questions
•Question and Answer Session at the End
