Event Description
Nick McGhee will share an overview of the Mars Incubator Habitat he designed for the NASA Centennial Challenge. The habitat is built of materials harvested from the Martian surface, this structure provides all the necessary creature comforts required to sustain human life. Nick will talk about his approach to the technical challenges that construction on Mars has as well as his process of using CAD to design, animating and 3D printing the model.
