2019 Wine Dinner Host Thomas Matthews, Executive Editor of Wine Spectator
I am pleased to host Mary Wade’s 14th annual wine event. As with wine, this event gets better with age.
Gala Italia will offer you delicious tastes from three great wineries. The wines, the evening, and the Mary Wade home itself all result from the efforts of many strong women, who come together to support our worthy cause.
This year’s wine sponsor is Allegrini Wineries, led by Marilisa Allegrini, our guest of honor. Marilisa has helped build her family company to encompass estates throughout the best regions of Italy.
This year’s dinner will support the creation of an Arts Therapy Program for the residents at Mary Wade, especially those suffering the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.
Please join us in this worthwhile effort and raise your glass for the Arts@MaryWade.
