Have you ever seen a quilt filled with great shapes and animals and wondered "How do they do that???"
Paper piecing is a quilting technique to create blocks with intricate designs such as stars, figures or abstract geometry. They range from simple to fascinatingly complex. In this class you will learn the basic technique by selecting one of four patterns, personalizing it by selecting your own fabrics and go home with a completed 12x12 inch pillow.
Participants must be comfortable with basic sewing machine use (members should be badged). This class will focus on quilting techniques, not machine operations.
Ticket includes pattern print-out, pillow form, and backing fabric.
Each person in the class will need to bring fabric for the design. Please see:
https://www.makehaven.org/event/pin-pals-intro-paper-piece-quilting
for pattern options and fabric requirements for each and indicate which pattern you would like to create during registration.
