In this relaxed, community-focused quilt-along, participants are invited to bring their quilting projects, new or ongoing, and enjoy guided support, shared workspace, and creative camaraderie. Whether you attended the earlier January skill class or are simply looking for time, space, and encouragement to work on your own quilting projects, this session provides a welcoming environment to sew, experiment, and connect with fellow quilters.
What to Expect
Expect an informal, come-as-you-are sewing space with Gayle, our quilting instructor, there for guidance, troubleshooting, and technique support. Participants may use this time to continue blocks started in the Traditional Piecing class, begin new projects, or bring in pieces they’ve been wanting to finish. This is not a structured lesson; rather, it’s an opportunity for focused work time with an experienced quilter nearby to help as needed.
Skills You’ll Acquire
• Personalized support on your quilting techniques
• Practice time with piecing, cutting, pressing, or assembly
• Troubleshooting guidance from the instructor
Experience working alongside a quilting community
What’s Provided
• Sewing machines, irons, and basic quilting tools
• Access to scrap fabrics for testing techniques
Support and guidance from an experienced quilter
Who Should Attend
Open to quilters of all levels: beginners, returning sewists, or anyone looking for a supportive environment to continue or complete their projects. Participation in the January skill class is welcome but not required.
