Welcome back to re-X Clinic series where we reduce, reuse, redesign, reclaim materials before recycling or sending tired items to landfills.This month, we will gather to learn about composting and the available services (Peels & Wheels) at MakeHaven. We will also the opportunity to make our own composting bin!
Questions and Goals:
Discuss common questions such as:
Why compost? Benefits of composting
What can be composted (green vs. brown)
Methods of composting (indoor, outdoor, composting services, worm)
What to expect during composting?
What happens after composting?

3. Make your own composting bin
Materials needed:
Please bring your own, or email the host GreenMagine@Gmail.com if you need some or all materials below:
Bucket with tight lid (less than 4 gallons)
Green materials for Nitrogen (food scraps, coffee ground, grass clippings) (Info Sheet)
Brown materials (dead leaves, shredded wood, shredded paper etc) (Info Sheet)
