SUMMARY:Silkscreen Basics
DESCRIPTION:Screenprinting is a printmaking process that allows you to
  print on just about any flat surface, including garments such as T-sh
 irts. The images are created by pushing ink through a stencil, creatin
 g a look that is often colorful and bold. The image can be reprinted m
 any times fairly quickly. The process can be easily duplicated at home
  with the right equipment and a small amount of DIY initiative.\nThis 
 course will cover all the basics of the process, including: choosing i
 mages, creating the screen stencil, printing on paper with water-based
  ink and printing on fabric with plastisol ink. Participants will leav
 e with a reusable 10 X 14# screen with their design. \nMakeHaven will
  supply inks and paper. Those wishing to also print to fabric should b
 ring their own cotton blend t-shirt(s) to print on. This class is taug
