Hi All,
It's a busy time of year! OUR BELOVED RIVERFEST is this Sunday. It looks like the sun will be there. SOOOO looking forward to it :)
In this post, I would like to let you know that there is another event coming up next week that you might be interested in.
This is SOLAR JAM, the annual fundraiser event for SOLAR YOUTH (http://solaryouth.org/) whose mission is to provide leadership opportunities through nature exploration to youth from New Haven's low income neighborhoods.
I am part of the event planning for the second year and this year, Don and I will also be helping them raise money by offering two new and unique auction items. This is also a way to promote our neighborhood ;)
Item 1: Weekend Staycation at our Oysterman's House with river views for 4.
Item 2: Boat day trip to Block Island on the boat we fixed up last year + overnight stay on the boat.
