Let's paint a mural together at the former Strong School building @ 69 Grand Avenue!
Mexican muralist Emilio Herrera Corichi of VirtuArt_galería has experience installing murals with community input and is excited to work with our neighborhood. He wants your input to capture the beauty, complexity, diversity, hopes, and dreams of our community on a prominent mural painted on the large plywood pieces spread across the building.
You are invited to participate in all steps of the process, starting with this community input meeting. Bring your ideas about the images and themes that should be included.
We will meet at ARTE Inc., 19 Grand Avenue, down the street from the former Strong School.
All ages and abilities welcome!
