The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) at Quinnipiac Terrace will sponsor their first community event a forum on “STOP THE VIOLENCE “. The guest speaker will be Daryl Allick founder of “Ice the Beef”. Please come out and join us on Dec ember 12, 2012, 5-7:00 pm at the community room 2 John Williamson Dr.
The MISSION of the Youth Leadership Council is to educate, challenge, and empower youth who reside in public housing within the city of New Haven. To develop the skills needed to become effective leaders and role models who constructively impact the communities in which they live through volunteerism and promoting positive change.
Supervision of the YLC is lead by Ms. Valarie McEachern, Youth and Family Services Manager (HANH) and Mentor Mr. Kermit Carolinas Principal of James Hill House High School.
