SGT JOHNSON REPORTS ON TRAFFIC CALMING IN FAIR HAVEN
I received a phone call from Sgt Johnson this week, reporting on his discussions with Mr.Travers the new head of traffic & parking. He drove with him around our neighborhood and explained the drag racing problem on Clinton Ave. Mr. Travers is ordering a speed limit sign to go up on Clinton Ave. He also said he would begin working on a traffic calming plan to stop the racing. Also in the spring more speed bumps will be put on Front street, it is too cold now to pour the tar. Mr Travers would be glad to come to a CSNA monthly meeting to discuss issues in our neighborhood.
