Community Youth VJ's/Video Ambassadors Wanted from Chatham Square

Community VJ Project:
Arts Council of Greater New Haven is piloting a program using media and community to bridge the access and creativity informance gap between the Council and New Haven Neighborhood Arts. We are looking for a Youth Group from Chatham Square Neighborhood, with an arts friendly focusaffiliated with local organizations/non-profits in the New
Haven area. The neighborhood group will receive a Flip Video camera and have a
representative(s) or Community VJ’s to record, document , edit and “report” generally
creative and artistic happenings in the Neighborhood. This will be put up on the Arts
Council’s Media Lounge; the Community VJ’s will receive a write up in the Arts
Paper and the group shall receive a small stipend.
