Food Resources Available Immediately

Hi everyone,

I live here in Fair Haven, and I am also a volunteer with Haven's Harvest, which does "food rescue" for greater New Haven.  Since the COVID-19 crisis hit, we have been receiving all kinds of donations from universities, restaurants, and grocery stores.  Our goal is to give it to people who need it.  The nature of these donations is that we never know exactly what we are going to get or when.  So...it's really important that when we receive donations, we have ways to communicate with people who want it.  I will start using this website and some other Fair Haven orgs to alert our community to available food.  If you are in need, text 203 439 6304 to alert me of your interest.  Please also pass this on to others in need.
