Fair Haven is a Diverse Community with a Rich History and a Beautiful Waterfront

This weekend we noticed two newly planted trees at Quinnipiac River Park that have been snapped off. I suggest that we all talk with people who use the park, express concern and outrage, and find out how those trees can be quickly replaced. Any other ideas? That's two of our parks suffering from fatal damage to young trees!

Thanks Terry for posting that - I have taken picture of the broken tree during my walk yesterday and haven't posted it as it is outside of the formal CSNA "jurisdiction". I am alway extremely enraged by the mindless acts of vandalism and in my books even the most difficult and trouble childhood is not exonerating the perpetrators, If it would be up to me I would just break the arms that broke those trees... I am aware though that this attitude will not find much following...

A quick replacement of the trees - preferably done with attention of the press and done as a community effort will send a message that we want the neighborhood clean, green and pretty.

It is not feasible to monitor 24/7 every element that can be vandalized... however I am ready with my camera to get somebody during an act and prosecute.
