Volunteers needed in your neighborhood! REVISED
The New Haven City-wide VITA Tax program is looking for more volunteers!
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. (http://tinyurl.com/hd8c72a)
In New Haven volunteers are needed to greet, screen, prepare taxes, and quality control filings. Most position do require an online certification, but volunteers are needed!
