Event Description

We need your help. Compassion Corps Inc - a grassroots non-profit is a new Green Space group organizing the Grafton Street neighbors in order to restore our neighborhood and create a beautiful, family friendly space.

We need your help. This Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. we are planting 3 trees on Grafton Street between Ferry and Rowe. We really need muscle at the very beginning to get the trees in place and then folks to show up to help dig holes. We have been working our neighborhood - however, because we are new group we don't know how our turn out is going to be. This is where you come in.

Would there be some CSNA volunteers to help in spurts for 45 minutes - 1 hour through out our 3 hour planting session to ensure a successful plant and beautification. This extra help will make a statement to our neighbors of our mutual commitment to improve the environment for all.

I appreciate all that CSNA does along with the members of my team - Community Development. This is going to be a good year.

Compassion Corps will be providing cold water and soda's for all who attend. Much appreciated.

Had many great conversations last week and Monday night as I strolled through the Grafton Street neighborhood to ask folks to join our effort in restoring our neighborhood. It was a great time to meet neighbors, engage in conversation and encourage them to help CC, CSNA and Ferry Street Block Watch restore this neighborhood. A big thanks to URI and all who come out to volunteer. A great night ahead. Hope you can make it.
