Fair Haven is a Diverse Community with a Rich History and a Beautiful Waterfront

It seems like more and more people are visiting the new site. There are still some details that can be improved and changed and as a creator and administrator I will continue doing it. Soon we will phase out the old Basecamp site and will use this as the main and ONLY tool to communicate and collaborate with CSNA members. Your comments are welcome.

Stve,
The solutions are to use the calendar, blogs and discussions to communicate with the broader audience and to let everyone know that it is at these locations that they should look for information intended for all. Perhaps Ken could craft a welcome paragraph that Voytec could post at the top alerting new visitors of this fact.

Among ourselves we need to reach out requesting the friendship connection of all the people we know and especially of people with whom we share an interest ie same workgroup, nearby neighbors, families with children. We also need to remind ourselves of the importance of accepting the friendship request of people with whom we share one of these reasons to connect. If we are going to say that any inappropriate use or abuse should be reported we will need to establish a system for doing this.

Any other thought about this?

I would be concerned about losing the Listserv function of the Basecamp site. With Ning it is only possible to send messages to your "friends" and not to the entire community. For some purposes, it is still valuable to be able to message everyone. Is there a solution to this?
