Event Description
In this 2 hour class, you will learn how to design a simple project on Inkscape and make it a reality using MakeHaven's Universal Laser Systems Laser Cutters, which are machines that cut or mark materials with light.
With the instructor's support, you will design your own project using Inkscape software and choose from different materials to cut or engrave. Some possibilities include earrings, charms, keychains, and ornaments, which you will cut on the engraver and will be able to take it home with you at the end of class.
This class is for beginners - no experience is required! Please bring a device (laptop preferred) with Inkscape software downloaded onto it. A limited number of computers will be available for those who need it, please indicate as such in your registration.
