Event Description

IN-PERSON EVENT

Your safety is our top priority. For more information about our COVID safety policies & protocols, visit our public safety page.

Nestled between the Mill and Quinnipiac rivers, Fair Haven is New Haven's most ethnically and racially diverse neighborhood. On this bike tour, you’ll explore 4 miles of the city’s most scenic waterfront paths as well as a bustling main street while untangling questions like: Who lives here and why? What challenges and opportunities are faced by people who live and work in Fair Haven? And most importantly, how have residents, business owners and nonprofits come together to overcome these challenges and take advantage of opportunities, and what will these efforts look like in the future?

Bikes will be available onsite courtesy of the New Haven Youth and Recreation Department. Remember your helmet!
