Event Description
Every Thursday in July, the QT Computer Lab and Learning Center will hold classes on Diabetes Self-Care Education. Classes are sponsored by The City Of New Haven Health Department.
Classes are taught by certified diabetes educator Constance Greene. Constance is an RN, MS, CDE, RD, CD-N, CMH, CNAT, HNC, PhD candidate trained and certified in Functional Nutrition, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Acupressure/Amma Therapy, Reiki, Reflexology and Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbology. • Participants will be given other free diabetes care items and will be given free blood glucose meters if you don’t have any.
• Come join us! Classes will be fun!
• Raffle for $20.00 Gift Card at last class for those who attend the most sessions!
Have you been diagnosed with diabetes (adult)? Have been told by your doctor that you are "pre-diabetic"? Do you live and care for a diabetic or prepare meals for a diabetic? If so, this class is for you!
