Event Description
HANH, in collaboration with local organizations, will host a day-long program and provide social recreation on Saturday, June 18, 2011 targeting fathers and their children. This initiative seeks to uplift the importance of having fathers involved in the lives of their children.
Male fathers/guardians and their children will register free of charge at the designated site and participate in positive activities offered to all of the program participants. Fathers and children will enjoy a day of educational and social recreation activities that foster bond building, teamwork and enhance overall life skills.
This will be one of many opportunities to show that, despite the crisis of father absence facing communities across the country, HANH Dads show up every day and are present and active in the lives of their child and communities.
