In this beginner-friendly crochet workshop, participants will learn the foundations of crochet across this 2-part class. This welcoming workshop is designed for those who are completely new to crochet or anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of the basics. Over the course of both sessions, students will build confidence with essential tools and stitches while working on simple, approachable projects they can continue at home. By the end of the workshop, participants will have practical skills, hands-on experience, and the confidence to continue crocheting independently.
2-Part class on consecutive Saturdays 3/14 & 3/21
What to Expect
Expect a supportive, hands-on learning environment with demonstrations, guided practice, and ample time for questions. During the first session, the instructor will cover yarn basics, how to read yarn labels, crochet hook anatomy, and foundational stitches, then guide participants as they begin a simple beanie-style hat. In the second session, participants will continue and complete the beanie project, practice additional stitches, and learn how to create a classic granny square. Each session is structured to move at a comfortable pace with step-by-step instruction and applied practice.
