This class is for anyone curious about vibe-coding who wants to go deeper into real software development workflows. With the rapid expansion of AI tools, it’s easier than ever to generate code, but also easier to introduce bugs, logic errors, and poorly structured projects. This session will explore how to use AI more intentionally by pairing large language models with solid planning, framework selection, and development practices to move ideas toward production-ready software.
What to Expect
This is a projector-based class with instructor-led discussion, demonstrations, and guided exercises. Participants will explore how AI tools can support ideation, planning, and development without replacing fundamental thinking. There will be opportunities for pair-up exercises and student participation throughout the session.
Skills You’ll Learn
• Using LLMs alongside Terminal User Interfaces (TUIs) for development workflows
• Choosing the right programming language or framework for a project
• Writing and using pseudocode to define MVP or v1.0.0 requirements
• Understanding how AI fits into modern software development pipelines
• Identifying free or low-cost tools for app development
Who Should Attend
This class is ideal for participants who are interested in AI-assisted coding, want to move beyond surface-level code generation, or are curious about turning ideas into functional software projects. No prior programming experience is required, just curiosity and interest in learning new technology.
Prerequisites
Participants should have an interest in learning about AI, coding, or modern software development. No prior technical experience is required.

• A laptop is optional but recommended
• macOS or Linux is preferred, but Windows laptops are welcome
