Event Description
The next Community Soup Night will be at Junta for Progressive Action, New Haven oldest Latinx serving community organization. Junta is the primary agency in New Haven supporting children, the elderly and families arriving from the island Puerto Rico as a result of the recent series of earthquakes. Below is a Junta infographic with relevant information.
Come visit with your neighbors, meet new people, enjoy delicious soup and donate to Junta if you wish. As is our custom we will have two soups (one vegetarian, one not). Participants are invited to bring any bread, beer, desert, salad or wine they would like to share with the community (optional).
Don't forget a bowl and spoons for all members in your party.
There is plentiful street parking around Junta on a Sunday evening. Anyone challenged by steps is welcome to park in the rear of the building and enter via handicapped access ramp.
