Second Grand Avenue Gastronomy Tour

Drink, eat, and tour local history on the second Grand Avenue Gastronomy Tour! 

The tour is part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness of the cultural diversity and economic vitality of Grand Avenue. Taste wines at our local wine shop and sample cuisine from Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and more at local restaurants. Along the way, learn the history of New Haven's most eclectic and ethnically-diverse neighborhood. 

The tour is led by Lee Cruz, a Fair Haven resident who has been leading guided tours for over 15 years. A participant in the first tour loved the "great food, great local history and insider knowledge of the neighborhood." Come alone or invite a friend! 

Everything included for $20 per person, to cover courtesy fees paid to each restaurant.

A minimum of 6 people must reserve by May 21. Participation capped at 20 people per tour. 

Please plan to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
