We are excited to invite our families to participate in a Four Part Educational Series at Chatham Place at Mary Wade, hosted and presented by esteemed guest speaker, Mary Underwood, a dedicated social worker with an impressive 35-year career in memory care. July 11 - The impact of the language we use and the care we provide
July 24 - The Ethics of Lying, also referred to as Therapeutic Fibbing, challenging the conventional notions of honesty and its role in caregiving
August 6 - The Grieving Process through the eyes of the person with dementia
August 22 - Sexuality and Dementia, a subject that needs to be discussed
