Fair Haven is a Diverse Community with a Rich History and a Beautiful Waterfront
The Economic & Community Development group met on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, from 6 – 6:30 pm at 315 Front Street. Present: Christel, Lisa, Richard, Brenda, Lee.
Various items were discussed.
Soup Night at Joyce’s house was great. Various options for next month Dining Out night include La Molienda and Grand Apizza. No decision was made.
Strong School. Still in limbo; city has not scheduled committee meeting yet. Lee will send info to Christel to draft letter to major requesting a meeting.
NYT article about “tiny houses” movement and Quinnipiac Marina. Seems like good PR for our area, but some anonymous SeeclickFix commenter complained about permits. Lisa will follow up with city about this.
