Urban Oasis Community Workday at Middletown Bridge underpass

June 30, 2017 at 5pm to August 4, 2017 at 7pm
Come help us build an urban oasis!   Join community members from CSNA  and URI volunteers to beautify a main entrance to our neighborhood. We started this project several years ago, planting shrubs and flowers and trees near the Middletown Ave bridge underpass and in Dover Beach. We got an artist to put up the colorful images on the bridges columns and the state put in a new fence. Hi Folks,

Somebody has been vandalizing the new play area at Dover Beach park. Over the past 4 monts, they have knocked down 3 fence panels from around the play area. Each time I called the city, but all they did was haul away the panels, they never replaced them. The vandals also beat up the trash can and removed its wheels so it won't stand up anymore and trash goes everywhere; I called about this as well but to no avail.  I just posted a report to Seeclickfix about this problem.…
