Once again Fair Haven Community Health Care has been recognized as a high achieving health center by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HRSA), and has received the gold level designation. This places FHCHC in the top 10% of the 1,400 community health centers across the country and reflects our strong commitment to high quality clinical care. The full announcement can be found here.
We are proud and happy to have FHCHC as a community partner and a major employer in our community.

When you accept my "friend" request you will be able to write to me directly. I'll check to see if we get the health department to help with this.

I am VERY hugely pregnant right now. So, while my initial urge was to scrape the offending gunk off myself I did not have any such equipment in my stroller at the moment.... ie,,, no gloves, or scrapers, trashbag etc... I thought that reporting the mess on Seeclickfix was a reasonable approach and didnt require me to EXPOSE myself (in my condition) to what ever that substance was, most likely feces. lugging a bucket of hot bleach water to Lewis st park was my next idea. If you would like to take the lead on that I would be very grateful.
It would seem that the very high taxes we pay here in New Haven would include prompt clean up of public health hazards such as this, particularly when it is where the children play.
I hope you don't think less of me for reporting it instead of trying to deal with it myself. I still hope we can be friends:) Cheers
