In Search of Reading Volunteers!

Dear neighbors,

Our son Pablo's amazing second grade teachers at Columbus School would love to find a few volunteers to work one-on-one reading with children in their classroom, during the morning reading time from around 9-10am. It could take place once per week or every day. Whatever you can do will be welcome and appreciated. Many of the kids are English language learners and could use a little extra support and encouragement. Reading with a child is a great way to start…

Columbus School Art Day -- Volunteers Needed!

Columbus School Art Day on Thursday, May 31. We are looking for volunteers who can design and lead an activity for kids in any arena of the arts: visual arts, music, dance, drama, writing, photography, anything is welcome!

We Found Him! Thanks to all who helped.

Dear neighbors: please help us find our Rey. Our gate blew open in the storm Saturday night; he wandered off and must have gotten disoriented. He's a little skiddish around strangers but sweet as can be. Quite the adventurer and could easily be across town. Wearing ID tags with all our info. Please keep your eyes peeled and spread the word.…
