Two promotional postcards have been designed, one for children and one for adults, to be distributed at
the neighborhood schools, the Fair Haven Clinic and the Library. Additional copies will be distributed
elsewhere in New Haven to invite our city neighbors to enjoy our trail system and its river and park
connections. Presently, fundraising for printing is underway. Samples of the postcards will be shared
with CSNA asap
The gardens are going strong: growing, plentiful and providing food for many people and families.
Kathleen attends the New Haven Food Policy Council monthly meetings and reports that the data
update to the 2015 report regarding hunger and food insecurity in New Haven is nearing completion in a
month or so and will be shared with CSNA.

Come in through the Pine Street Entry at Mary Wade and sign in at the desk before going to the Fire Place
Room to gather with neighbors to “break bread”.
SEPT DINING OUT NIGHT will be at the Boat House Café, Check the date in September.
Annual Neighborhood Safety Celebration will be Thurs, Sept 7 at Christopher Columbus Family Academy
Use the website to announce news and needs….for example: Social Justice Issues, Announcements,
“Lost Cat,” “Apartment for Rent,” etc.
