Blog About Running in Fair Haven
I've been working on a blog about life as jogger here in Fair Haven and would love your support/feedback. I'm using it as a way to share what I see and love about our neighborhood as I train towards running the Stratton Faxon 20k on Labor Day. I'm also using it to try and fundraise on behalf of the CSNA. Please feel free to follow along and share with anyone you think might enjoy. Good for you. I used to run the 20 k more than a decade ago, before my knees went bad. A nice training run is to cross the bridge and then run up Quinnipiac Ave towards the harbor, after it crosses I-95 it turns into Townsend Ave and you can run all the way to Light house point and back! If you want a harbor view, you can cut over to Woodward which goes parallel to Townsend and eventualy rejoins it.
