Fair Haven is a Diverse Community with a Rich History and a Beautiful Waterfront
We're hopeful to be able to serve Fair Haven residents in person ASAP as we prepare our library facilities with safety in mind for all members of the public and staff.
Starting the week of 7/6 we'll be offering Curbside service. Think of how you can call restaurants with an order and then notify them when you arrive. It works the same here at Fair Haven Library. Place an order of library materials online, or call us for help. Then we'll set them aside for you. When you come by, let us know, and we'll check them out to your account and hand them to you.
Due to the library closings since March don't worry that your membership or items are overdue. Any library cards that were set to expire these months have all been extended to the end of July. All materials that were due have also had their due dates extended. If you want to bring your books back, no problem. Just deposit them in our big blue locker by the sidewalk and we'll retrieve them.
If you're online your card allows you access free e-books, music, and movies through our various databases. Just go to https://nhfpl.org/collections/research-databases-2/ . Call us if you have any questions.
Our Summer Reading Program has migrated online this time. You can log your reading online and our performers and presenters are doing their shows virtually too. We're recording as many as we can so you can watch at a time that's convenient for you. Learn more about summer learning here: https://nhfpl.org/ymsummerlearning/
Call us for curbside, with any questions, or just say "Hi" (203) 946-8115. We miss you and hope to see you soon!
