Report on the Current Status of Mary Wade's Assisted Living and Memory Care Project

Dear Neighbor:

I hope this letter finds you well.  As your neighbor, we would like to keep you apprised as to the construction that has begun on Pine Street and Clinton Avenue.

The Mary Wade Home, Inc. has been approved to build an 84-unit Assisted Living building.  The new construction will be located on Clinton Avenue, between Grafton and Pine Streets.  The new address will be 138 Clinton Avenue.  We are estimating it will be completed by March 2021.  The building will include:

• 6, One-Bedroom Apartments
• 58 Studio Apartments
• 20 Apartments devoted to Memory Care
• parking lot for 69 spaces (13 compact and 56 regular)

 A parking lot is currently under construction at 113 Pine Street.  The parking lot, will be for employees and visitors of The Mary Wade Home, Inc.  The parking lot will be completed by the end of November and will remain the parking lot for Mary Wade employees going forward.

Plans are underway to enhance security in the new parking lot, which includes extensive lighting, security cameras and a blue light emergency telephone pole (Emergency Call Box).  Other security procedures are currently being studied for implementation.  This parking lot is scheduled for completion shortly after Thanksgiving, and will be used primarily during the day.
