Hi Lee,

I have long been interested in doing some sort of program in Chatham Square, but with our stretched resources it just hasn't happened. Our 50th Anniversary seems to have brought a renewed sense of purpose and energy and I am very hopeful that this will carry us forward in the coming years.

Our calendar is pretty full this year, but I would like to talk to you more about planning something for next year. I think a tour is certainly possible -- either as part of Arts & Ideas, as a stand-alone Trust tour, or as something offered in conjunction with an event in CS.

HI Lee,

I've lived in New Haven all my life actually, in fair haven for 5 years in ward 14.  Now I live in the Hill, however, I am a Realtor and I work at Rosa Realty, LLC so our office does market a lot of fair haven, which is what has brought me to join chatham square. Prior to joining Rosa Realty full time, I was employed by the City of New Haven, 3 years at the Bd of Ed and 8 yrs at Corp. Counsel.  Hope all is well, talk  to you soon.

I miss Fair Haven, I miss the views, the people. Knowing who my neighbors are, and the feeling that they are there when you need them.

Fair Haven is beautiful Island, with views that take one right back in time.I am just a city girl I guess. 

I worked with David Hunter as part of our particular block watch.

I lived across from the Mary Wade Home.

It was and still is a place where you can find the best in grocery shopping, to fine food.

I often tell my husband I want to "go home"

Great to "discover" this group.  While I live across the river on Lenox, I've been involved with historic preservation and neighborhood revitalization since the early 1970s when I bought my first house on Capitol Hill in DC.  In my third career, I am now a Realtor and actually have some clients interested in the Lewis St house so am trying to contact the folks who are involved in this project.  I'd also be happy to offer any no obligation Realtor assistance (market analysis, etc, marketing suggestions).
