Somebody has been vandalizing the new play area at Dover Beach park. Over the past 4 monts, they have knocked down 3 fence panels from around the play area. Each time I called the city, but all they did was haul away the panels, they never replaced them. The vandals also beat up the trash can and removed its wheels so it won't stand up anymore and trash goes everywhere; I called about this as well but to no avail. Many of you probably know Grand Vin, on the corner of Grand and Quinnipiac Avenues. It's a gem of store, selling a variety of fine wines, beers and liquor, more like the Wine Thief downtown than the other liquor stores on Grand Ave. Ben, the owner, is very knowlegable, and committed to the neighborhood.
