Support Grand Vin

Hi everybody,

 

Many of you probably know Grand Vin, on the corner of Grand and Quinnipiac Avenues.  It's a gem of store, selling a variety of fine wines, beers and liquor, more like the Wine Thief downtown than the other liquor stores on Grand Ave.  Ben, the owner, is very knowlegable, and committed to the neighborhood.  He had a rough winter, however, due to all the snow wiping out parking, and now the road construction on Quinnipiac continuing the…

Fair Haven Community Sailing - Let's Relive It Again!

So, quite frankly I have decided to follow the Nike slogan : JUST DO IT! We have been debating the topic of repeating of the community sailing aboard the schooner Quinnipiack and somehow we couldn't decide if, when etc. It was decided that planing of the sail for the May 1st would be competing with the Lobster Party at Jenelles's and the season opening of the Quinnipiac River Marina. I hope that we will be able to relive it finally again on Sunday May 22nd. …

The Easter Bunny that stopped by Chatham Square for the egg hunt would LOVE to have a photo or two for her scrapbook.  So if anyone took a photo that can be shared, can you post it here?  She wants to make The Tooth Fairy jealous.  :o)
