Today at 3pm there will be a news conference called by the organizations that banded together to protest the expansion of a facility that brings trash to New Haven from other town. American Wast (19 Wheeler St.) has pulled its application to the Department of energy & Environmental Protection, for now. Students at Wilbur Cross are very eager to help the community and also get credit for community service. Applicants of the New Haven Promise have to complete a total of 40 hours to meet scholarship requirements. As of Thursday, December 3rd, Fair Haven Community Health Care's COVID-19 testing site will be moving to 293 East Street in New Haven. We are currently offering free COVID testing from our 350 Grand Avenue location. The move to the new space will give us more room to better serve those who want a COVID test.
